Flexible Logistics

Flexible logistics support for anyone.

Train, plane and automobiles! Whatever your urgency, and whatever the size and weight of your consignment, we will find the right solution. Your favourite Pizza, Fish & Chips isn't out of the question; we have delivered Beluga Caviar along with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne to an East of England airport before now!

Request a specific arrival time, day or night, and we will assign the driver and vehicle that best meet your needs. Remember, if it fits in the boot of a car, it will save you money and is often faster than a plane, especially over short distances. A small van or larger vehicle is always an option for those larger items. Do you need a car collected, driven to or from an EU country?

Choosing the right mode

Every job is different. What follows is how each option earns its place, and when it is the right answer rather than simply the fastest or the cheapest.

BY AIR
Onboard Courier — EU destinations

Hand carried, never out of sight.

An Onboard Courier (OBC) flies with your item as hand baggage. It is booked as a seat, not as freight, so the consignment stays with one named courier from the moment it is collected until it is handed over at the other end.

We use it for EU destinations where the clock or the contents rule out the road — a part holding up a production line, a legal document that has to be signed for today, or something valuable enough that an unbroken chain of custody matters more than the cost of the ticket.

Because it is hand to hand throughout, there is no depot, no sorting hub and no handover to a third party in between.

BY RAIL
Eurostar — hand carried into the EU

City centre to city centre, by hand.

For smaller hand-held items, rail is often the practical choice: our courier travels with the item and meets your authorised recipient at the destination station, rather than trying to find an address in an unfamiliar city.

Our courier must check in 90 minutes before departure at St Pancras International in London to clear the current security and border checks, so that time needs building into the plan.

Five stations across three countries can be reached for a hand delivery:

StationJourney time
Lille1h 25m
Brussels2h 00m
Paris2h 15m
Rotterdam3h 13m
Amsterdam3h 52m

Onward delivery from the station can be arranged if your recipient cannot meet the train.

BY ROAD
Light goods vehicle — larger consignments

When it is too big for a boot.

Anything over roughly 1m³ goes by road. A dedicated van carries your consignment and nothing else, so there is no consolidation, no depot transfer and no waiting for a trailer to fill.

Our services suit Light Goods Vehicles, which handle a single item or a full load up to 800kg and 12m³. That covers most furniture, trade equipment, exhibition stands and palletised goods.

It is also the mode that copes best with awkward shapes, items that cannot be boxed, and anything needing two people at either end.

Access matters at both ends, and it is worth a moment’s thought before you book. A light goods vehicle needs somewhere to stop, turn and get reasonably close to the door, so tell us about narrow lanes, height barriers, parking restrictions, gated sites or a long carry. Given that up front we can plan around it — the right vehicle, the right time of day, a second pair of hands — rather than discovering it on the doorstep.

BY CAR
Small, urgent, direct

If it fits in the boot, it is usually the best answer.

For smaller items a car is frequently quicker than flying and materially cheaper, particularly over shorter distances where airport check-in and waiting time would swallow any gain in the air.

One driver, one vehicle, collection straight through to delivery.
